Sage Plate 2

This listing is for the ceramic plate pictured. This plate features botanical impressions.

Handmade in my home studio in Wallagoot, NSW. This plate was made from midfire clay and was slab built.

It was then decorated with the impressions from Sage picked from my garden. I then fired the plate and used a black underglaze wash to highlight the impressions. It has a clear glaze on the surface and is food safe.

Each part of the creation of this plate was performed by me. As this plate is handmade, it is unique and may have imperfections which give the plate its character. This plate is a piece of functional art that can be enjoyed every day and can last a very long time.

Handmade ceramics is a slow process but every step is carefully considered. As such, I hope that you enjoy using the plate as much as I enjoyed making it!

This plate measures 19.5cm long and 12.5cm wide. Measurements are approximate.
