About me

I started my ceramics journey three years ago after exploring many different creative pursuits.  I've always been inspired by nature and in particular by the unique plants and animals we have in Australia.

I studied Environmental Science at University, graduating with a Masters degree.  From there i went to live and work in the Northern Territory.  After spending time in Uluru-Kata Tjuta and Kakadu National Parks I went back to University to obtain a Bachelor of Teaching.  I then spent almost ten years on a remote island in North-East Arnhem Land where i lived immersed in one of the oldest cultures in the world.

I am fortunate now to have the time and resources to create ceramics inspired by my experiences and surroundings in my home studio on the Far South Coast NSW.
