This listing is for the ceramic vase pictured.
Handmade in my home studio in Wallagoot, NSW. This vase was made from midfire clay and was wheelthrown.
It was then decorated with underglaze and the design carved back through. After the first firing, it was then glazed internally only and fired to 1220degrees.
Each part of the creation of this vase was performed by me. The process began with the clay being prepared by my hands and ends with you using the vase to enjoy your favourite blooms.
As this vase is handmade, it is unique and may have imperfections which give it character. This vase is a piece of functional art that can be enjoyed every day and can last a very long time.
Handmade ceramics is a slow process and every step is carefully considered. As such, I hope that you enjoy using the vase as much as I enjoyed making it!
This vase measures 16cm high and is 7.5cm wide at the rim. Measurements are approximate.
